How it works

From a source's post to your pocket in seconds.

No editors rewriting the story, no five-minute refresh cycle. A rules engine that knows what matters in fantasy, and a push the instant it does.

National insidersTeam accountsBeat writersAgentsOfficial injury pages
  1. We watch hundreds of trusted sources around the clock

National insiders, every team's official account, the beat writers who are actually at practice, the agents, and the league's official injury pages. Nothing gets in that we haven't vetted.

  2. Our rules score every item for fantasy impact and confidence

Is it a starter or a depth piece? Is a decision due before kickoff? Did the source see it, hear it, or is it official? Each item gets an impact score and a label, so the noise never reaches your lock screen.

  3. You get a push in seconds, with the source and the label

The alert names who said it and links straight to the original. Tap through for the summary, the quote, who benefits, and what other fans are saying.

Three labels

How sure should you be? Every alert says.

A rumour and an official designation are not the same thing. FantasyAlert never blurs them.

Confirmed

An official designation or transaction: injury report, inactive list, IR, signing or trade.

“Team places WR on injured reserve.” Official transaction, done deal.

Report

An attributed report from a credentialed insider or beat writer, not yet official.

“Source: RB is expected to miss multiple weeks.” Credible, attributed, not yet official.

Observed

A first-hand practice or sideline note, without a status attached.

“QB throwing in the open portion of practice.” Someone saw it. Read it as a clue, not a verdict.

What you control

Loud when it matters. Silent when it doesn't.

Alerts are only useful if you keep them turned on. So you decide what gets through, and when.

Follow players and teams

Your roster, your bench, your rivals' studs. Alerts about them always come through.

Quiet hours

Sleep. Anything that isn't game-deciding waits until morning; the truly big news still gets through.

A daily cap on breaking pushes

Pick how many league-wide alerts you want a day. We send the highest-impact ones and hold the rest in your inbox.

Practice reports, opt-in

Wednesday-to-Friday participation notes for the players you follow, if you want them. Off by default.

Not just a feed

React. Argue. Console each other.

Every alert takes emoji reactions and comments, and so does every comment. When your RB1 goes on IR, you're not alone with the news: the thread is right under it, with the fans who just lost him too.

🔥😱💀😂👀🙏😤🎯

Who benefits

When a starter goes down, the alert names the player who steps up, so the waiver move is obvious before the run starts.

Corrections, in the open

If a source reverses, the alert updates and shows the timeline: what was said, when, and what changed.

Questions

Fair ones, answered.

Why not just follow the insiders on X myself?

Because there are hundreds of accounts and pages worth following and the one that breaks your player's news is rarely the one you're looking at. We read all of them, around the clock, and only forward the items that change a fantasy decision. You still see exactly who said it.

Do you write the news?

No. FantasyAlert relays and cites. Every alert names its source and links to the original post or page. When a source corrects or reverses a story, the alert updates and shows the correction, so you never act on a stale version.

What do Confirmed, Report and Observed mean?

Confirmed is official: an injury designation, an inactive list, a transaction or a team announcement. Report is an attributed report from a credentialed insider or beat writer. Observed is a first-hand practice or sideline note without a status attached. The label tells you how much weight to put on it.

Is it free?

Yes. Free, no ads, no premium tier holding back the fast alerts. FantasyAlert is built by eDraft, the free fantasy football platform, and it stays free.

Is there an Android app?

iPhone first, this season. Android follows. Join the list and you'll hear about both the day they open.

Is this eDraft?

Same account, same team. If you already play on eDraft you sign in to FantasyAlert with the account you have. You don't need an eDraft league to use it.

Can I comment and react?

On every alert and on every comment. Emoji reactions and threaded comments are in the app. The public pages show the conversation read-only.
